I've been wondering what the difference is between gaming, now and then. And then I realized. You can't even compare now and then. The whole notion that is gaming have changed so much since then. The entire experience is soooooo much different from what our parent experienced when they were kids, and also, I'm sure our parents weren't as hardcore gamers as we are today. I mean, right now, no teenage boy can go a day without doing some sort of gaming-reference like "LOL", "NOOB" og whatever.
But also, the games in general. Do you think that your dad had the opportunity to play any games that were even close to Call of Duty or Battlefield? No, of course not. He was playing hardcore with that Donkey Kong shit! He probably had the highscore of all of his friends, and he was proud as hell! What do you think that he would do if he knew what awesome games we have now? Our gaming, is the future. Sure we have Kinect and PS Move. But I don't think thats the future. I would be surprised if they actually began releasing for real FPS's for the Kinect. Althought that would be pretty god damn awesome! Could you imagine killed a guy from another continent with your bare hands, in a video game? I would run around knifing all day!
